Perfect Blinds UK started in 2013 with a simple idea: if you’re going to do something, do it properly. No shortcuts, no “that’ll do,” no compromises. Just honest work, quality products, and service that actually means something.
We’re based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and we’ve been serving homes across the region for over a decade now. What started as a small local team has grown into one of Yorkshire’s most trusted blinds suppliers, but we’ve never forgotten where we came from or what matters most—treating every customer’s home like it’s our own.
From the beginning, we’ve specialised in made-to-measure blinds and shutters that are genuinely made to measure. Not “close enough,” not “standard sizes with a bit of “trimming”—properly measured, properly made, and properly fitted by our own trained team. We’re proud members of the British Blind & Shutter Association, and all our products meet UK and EU safety standards. But beyond the certificates and regulations, what we’re really about is getting things right.
Over the years, we’ve built strong relationships with the best manufacturers in the UK and Europe. We’ve expanded our range to include everything from classic roller blinds to innovative Day & Night blinds, from traditional wooden Venetians to modern smart home systems. We’ve developed our own installation solutions like the Perfectly Fitted system, which can be color-matched to virtually any uPVC window. We’ve fitted thousands of homes, solved countless tricky window problems, and built a reputation we’re genuinely proud of.
Today, Perfect Blinds UK (trading name of Perfekt Blinds UK Ltd, Company No. 13483841) operates from our base in Barnsley, offering free measuring and fitting across Yorkshire. We’re still the same team with the same values—we’ve just got better at what we do.

When the world stopped, we didn't. 2020 tested every business, but it also showed us what really mattered. We adapted our consultations to keep customers and our team safe, introduced virtual measuring where needed, and kept fitting blinds for key workers and vulnerable people who needed them most. Our commitment to quality and service didn't waver—if anything, it got stronger. We also expanded our motorisation options, recognising that more people working from home needed better light control throughout the day.
Growth and Innovation
As life started returning to normal, we saw demand surge. People had spent a year staring at their windows and decided it was time for a change. We responded by expanding our team, streamlining our processes, and launching our Perfectly Fitted roller system — a game-changer for rentals and anyone wanting a no-drill solution. We also strengthened our relationships with suppliers, ensuring we could meet growing demand without compromising on quality or lead times.
Building on Success
This was the year we really hit our stride. We invested in our showroom, giving customers a proper space to see and feel fabrics, test different systems, and make informed choices. We expanded our Day & Night blinds collection to over 300 fabric options and introduced new color-matching capabilities for our Perfectly Fitted system. Customer feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and word-of-mouth recommendations became our biggest source of new business.
Ten Years Strong
A decade in business deserved celebrating, but we did it the Perfect Blinds way — by getting even better at what we do. We launched our Urban Shutters range, bringing the premium look of shutters into a more affordable, lightweight uPVC format. We also expanded our smart home integration options, partnering with major systems like Alexa and Google Home. By the end of 2023, we'd fitted over 10,000 homes across Yorkshire and beyond.
Looking to the Future
We started 2024 by investing in our team's training and development, ensuring everyone was up to speed with the latest products and installation techniques. We introduced new external shading solutions, including ZIP screens, perfect for outdoor living spaces. Our distributor network grew significantly, taking Perfect Blinds quality to new areas across the UK. We also launched our new website, making it easier for customers to explore options and book consultations online.

We're focusing on the details that make the biggest difference—faster response times, even more fabric options, enhanced warranty coverage, and smarter logistics. We've introduced new energy-efficient blind options that genuinely help reduce heating costs.
